Who had the best stats in Gameweek 15

Last modified date

We look at who had the best stats in Gameweek 15. Using the Fantasy Football Scout members area, we take a look at some of the players that topped the key attacking stats from the latest round in FPL. Stats will include underlying data points like shots on target, chances created and other important stats to give us an indication of which players did well.

Looking at who had the best stats in Gameweek 15 can indicate which players did well. Even if the players who topped the stats didn’t return any points. This can be a good sign that the players were close to returning. FPL managers are always on the lookout for assets that could potentially return in the future. This could help with that.

Ivan Perisic

There was a lot of excitement within the FPL community when Ivan Perisic (£5.5m) joined Spurs. Although that was the case, the wingback has failed to meet his high expectations. Perisic has managed just five FPL returns this season, far less than many managers hoped for.

Perisic came up against and improving Liverpool side in Gameweek 15. However, amongst all players in the league this week, Perisic ranked first for crosses (14), joint second for successful crosses (four), joint first for chances created (five) and joint second for big chances created (one). Perisic put up some fantastic stats but failed to convert those into FPL points. The Croatian finished the match with just a single point.

Kevin De Bruyne

Man City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne (£12.6m) has become one of the most consistent players in FPL this season. Before Gameweek 15, the Belgian racked returns in nine of his 12 matches played. The midfielder’s consistency has led to him sitting as the fourth highest scoring player in FPL so far.

De Bruyne was involved in a very tight contest against newly promoted side Fulham in Gameweek 15. However, he still ranked second for crosses (13), first for successful crosses (five), joint first for chances created (five) and first for big chances created (two). De Bruyne was rewarded for his fantastic stats with a cool seven points for his assist and bonus points.

James Maddison

Prior to Gameweek 15, James Maddison had picked up a return in six of his first 11 matches for Leicester. The midfielder was sold on mass ahead of his recent suspension, but could those same managers be regretting that decision?

Amongst all players the league, the midfield maestro ranked joint second for chances created (four), first for attempts on goal (eight) and first for attempts in the box (six). The Leicester man hit a huge 11 points for his efforts. That return consisted of two assists and two bonus points.

Morgan Gibbs-White

Nottingham Forest have really struggled to settle in the top tier this season. The lack of goals has also meant a lack of attacking returns for their assets. One of those assets is midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White (£5.5m).

The budget attacker had managed just two returns all season prior to Gameweek 15. However, amongst all players this week, he ranked second for attempts on goal (seven) and joint second for attempts in the box (four). His great stats were rewarded with a massive 13-point haul. His points came from his goal, assist and three bonus.
