Nkunku to Chelsea

Chelsea officially confirmed the signing of versatile attacker Nkunku on a permanent deal from Leipzig this week. The 25-year-old’s contract commences on July 1st so will be fully involved for the 23/24 campaign ahead.

Nkunku managed a huge 20 goals and 13 assists from 34 Bundesliga matches in 21/22. He then followed that up with 16 goals and four assists in 25 matches last season in the league for Leipzig. FPL managers will be excited at the prospect of a more potent Chelsea attacker. It is bad news for Bundesliga Fantasy managers however as they have lost one of the best assets in the game.

Mateo Kovacic to Manchester City

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the transfer of Mateo Kovacic from Chelsea to Manchester City. The Croatian midfielder signed for a fee of £30m and his medical is scheduled in the next days. The 29-year-old is also predominantly a central midfielder and after starting just 17 Premier League matches last season he will be hoping his move pays off.

Xavi Simons puts clubs around Europe on alert

Manchester United, Arsenal, Brighton, Spurs, Dortmund and Leipzig are all monitoring Xavi Simon’ next move. The 20-year-old attacker is waiting for hear from PSG for his future. The Dutchman has caught the eye of some of the best clubs in Europe after securing 19 goals and eight assists in 34 league matches.

Kai Havertz edges closer to Arsenal

Fabrizio Romano hints that it could be just a matter of time before Chelsea forward Kai Havertz makes his move to Arsenal. The German has been well below expectations since his move to the Blues but proved pivotal to their most recent Champions League win.

Edmond Tapsoba to Spurs?

Highly rated centre-back Edmond Tapsoba is keen on a move to Spurs. Tottenham have also started concrete talks with the player however nothing is advanced yet. Tapsoba plays his football in Germany for Bayer Leverkusen. He also helped his side to Europa League qualification for the 23/24 campaign.

FPL managers will be hoping that Spurs make significant improvements over the summer which help them to become more defensively investable in the upcoming season. This addition could also make their wing-backs even more attractive in FPL.

The Chelsea clear-out continues

Chelsea continue there efforts to relieve some of their squad members of duty. Goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, defender Kalidou Koulibaly and winger Hakim Ziyech have all verbally agreed on a move away. In addition, these moves will also allow Chelsea to bring more players in during the summer.
