Changes to the game
Overhauls
This season there are changes to the overhauls. Normally managers have two overhauls per season. However for the 2022/23 season managers have just one.
The overhaul period run in conjunction with the World Cup. The period will begin on November 14th and will run until December 26th.
Transfers
With just one overhaul this season the number of transfers has increased from 40 to 50.
Man of the Match
This will no longer be part of the game for the 2022/23 season.
Player reclassification
Mohamed Salah and Son Heung-min have been moved back to midfield ahead of the new season. They were forwards in the game during the last campaign. This will allow managers to, budget allowing, build a team which contains Salah, Son, Harry Kane and Erling Haaland.
This will please Sky Fantasy managers who would have previously had to chose just three of the four.
