More FPL Price Reveals!
Yesterday saw the FPL price reveals from five Premier League clubs. Arsenal, Man City, Brentford, Brighton and Leeds all shared prices for 11 of their players. Today we have seen Liverpool reveal 11 of their prices for the new season.
FPL price releases are one of the most exciting parts of pre-season. Todays recent announcements from @OfficialFPL have assigned the following price tags for 2022/23:
Liverpool
Liverpool have released their prices ahead of the new season. Mo Salah is priced at £13.0m with Trent Alexander-Arnold £7.5m.
FPL Comment: Salah’s £13.0m price tag will have been no surprise to FPL managers who were expecting a big price jump for the midfielder. Midfield team mate Luis Diaz enters the game a full £5m cheaper than Salah at £8.0m.
Diogo Jota has been reclassified as a forward for the new season he and new signing Darwin are both priced at £9.0m.
Trent Alexander-Arnold has received a price tag of £7.5m, this is cheaper than most of the community were expecting, and just £0.5m more than Andy Robertson. Virgil Van Dijk is priced at £6.5m this season. Goalkeeper Alisson is cheaper this year at £5.5m.
Manchester United
The second price reveal of the day and its Manchester United. The reds struggled to break the top four last season with their star players. So lets take a look at their prices.
FPL comment: Ronaldo and Bruno both take expected price drops after last season, both priced £10.5m and £10m respectively. Both players could interest FPL managers at their prices. Ronaldo was the second highest scoring forward in FPL last season with 159 points.
The defence also comes in at interesting prices with the likes of Shaw and Varane both coming in at £5 million. FPL players will be hoping the Man United backline settles before investing.
Rashford at £6.5 million also a very tempting price, the winger will be hoping he can regain his top form of old which could make managers invest in the young Englishman.
Wolves
Wolves have released their prices ahead of the new season. Lets take a look at what great budget price-tags there is to pick from in the new campaign.
FPL comment: Goalkeeper Sa was Wolves highest scoring FPL player last season with 146 points, he comes in at £5m. Defenders like Jonny and Ait Nouri also come in at £4.5m whereas Coady gets a slight increase to £5m.
Another nice enabling price from FPL as they give Neto a price tag of £5.5m, a great price when taking into account their early fixtures.
FPL managers will be hoping for a better season from forward Jimenez. With only 101 points last season the £7m striker will be looking to get back to the quality we know he has.
Aston Villa
The fourth batch of price reveals have come in and there from Aston Villa. Prices include key players Danny Ings, Ollie Watkins and Matty Cash.
FPL comment: Defender Matty Cash was the only defender to make it into the top 10 scoring defenders in FPL last season, he comes in at £5m. Whilst Digne another attractive option at the back for Villa came in at £5m as well.
Forwards Danny Ings and Watkins will also be highly regarded in nice fixture periods, they come in at £7m and £7.5m respectively. Coutinho also comes in at price many may have expected at £7m, the midfielder will be remembered the most for his excellent performances in double game week 28 last season.
Fulham
The Fulham prices are now in and we can finally see what price favourites like Mitrovic and Harry Wilson have come in at.
FPL comment: The standout option Mitrovic comes in at a great enabling price of £6.5m, a price tag many FPL players will be keen on after his record breaking season last campaign.
The Welsh wizard Harry Wilson also comes in at a fantastic price of £6m, many managers will also be keen to try to fit him in when good fixture periods arrive.
The defence all arrive with nice and cheap prices with goalkeeper Rodak and defenders Tete, Ream and Tosin all coming in at £4.5m.
