Gameweek 9 – 12 Report

Gameweek 9 -12 Report

As the International Break descends, here’s the run down of all the key players in the Gameweek 9 – 12 Report.

The phase dream team is available, plus a look at goals threat, creativity and overall team performances.

Dream Team

The Gameweek 9-12 Report dream team shows the lineup which has delivered the most Fantasy Premier League points over the last 4 gameweeks. Gameweek 9 - 12 Report It’s a 3-5-2 formation, as momentum shifts towards the Manchester City attack over the defence. Sterling (29) pips Silva and Aguero (28) to the best attacking points total, from just 3 starts in 4 games: it’s a close call here. Aubameyang (24) joins Aguero in the front line, with a pair of impressive substitute performances. Martial is the in form player, amassing 41 points with goals in each of his last 4 appearances. Salah (33) keeps ahead of his team mates, with attacking returns in 3 of the 4 games in this period. Paterson (28) has been in form as an out of position prospect for Cardiff, in a spell which coincided with great fixtures. The Chelsea defence have remained investable, with attacking returns for Alonso (28) and Rudiger (24) to go alongside a pair of clean sheets. Dunk (28) has also been chipping in with attacking returns, as the Brighton defence has tightened up. Pickford (35) has two clean sheets to go alongside two penalty saves in recent weeks. There’s some more promising home games coming up in the short term schedule, so he’s worthy of consideration too.

Goals Gameweek 9 – 12 Report

Goals: Anthony Martial (5) Shots: Sergio Aguero (16) Shots in the box: Sergio Aguero (13) Shots on Target: Aguero, Morata, Martial, Arnautovic (8) Headed Goal Attempts: Wilson, Balbuena (5) Sergio Aguero remains on top in the goal threat department, dominating the statistics for shots, shots in the box and shots on target. He hasn’t been as clinical as Manchester rival Anthony Martial, but the potential has been there. Morata has had plenty of opportunities, with an upturn in his finishing statistics too. Arnautovic has also offered plenty despite some frustrating weeks, but the fixtures suggest he can remain strong in this area for upcoming games. Callum Wilson continues to provide an aerial threat for Bournemouth. Balbuena may come as a surprise here: West Ham have excellent upcoming fixtures, which makes this goal scoring centre back an intriguing option for the coming weeks.

Creativity Gameweek 9 – 12 Report

Assists: Raheem Sterling, Ryan Fraser (3) Goal Attempt Assists: Fraser, Willian, Hazard (13) Chances Created: Ryan Fraser (5) Successful Crosses: Marc Albrighton (9) Bonus Points: Anthony Martial (8) Bournemouth winger, Ryan Fraser, has been creating plenty for his teammates with great threat, is it a trend that can continue through the challenging spell? Raheem Sterling remains a creator and a goalscorer for City, providing an all round edge over Aguero. Willian and Hazard are continuing to provide for Chelsea, despite a less convincing spell for Sarri’s unbeaten men in recent weeks. Albrighton has overtaken Maddison as the creative threat from Leicester, which should reap returns in their easy fixtures soon.

Team Gameweek 9 – 12 Report

Goals: Manchester City (15) Least Goals Scored: Huddersfield, Southampton, Burnley, Fulham (2) Clean Sheets: Everton, Brighton, Spurs, Newcastle, Manchester City, Liverpool, Leicester, Southampton, Chelsea, Watford (2) Most Goals Conceded: Burnley (13) Least Goals Conceded: Manchester City, Liverpool, Watford, Newcastle (2) It’s no surprise to see Manchester City leading the way in terms of goal scoring in this period, with many managers scrambling to get a second attacking into their teams. The defence of Burnley has remained questionable, with some tougher fixtures on the horizon that could be exploited. Clean sheets also look likely against them, as well as Huddersfield, Southampton and Fulham experiencing a barren spell. Some smaller teams are matching the defensive solidarity of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City, with some interesting budget options obtainable in defence.
