In a new feature, we select our predicted Free Hit Team of the Week ahead of Gameweek 4.
Some old favourites return in Gameweek 4, as three games are targeted with the Safe Spine, All Out Attack and Clean Sheet Stack player picks.
Gameweek 4 €50,000 Weekly Monster
These selections are brought to you in association with FanTeam – the player picks are useful for FPL Gameweek 4 but can also be taken on board for this Daily Fantasy Tournament.
Pick your team of 11 players for Gameweek 4, using the 100.0M personal budget. There’s no limit on the number of players per club, choose your captain and vice captain and be in with a chance of winning big prizes.
Entry is just €20 and there’s a guaranteed prize pool of €50,000 every weekend which presents excellent value for money! There’s also a smaller €2 entry tournament with a €7,500 prize pool too.
Below is a full break down of the big money prize pool. Scoring is very similar to FPL but you’ll find a different pricing structure to normal.
Safe Spine: Manchester City (vs Brighton)
Manchester City sit in the top 2 of the Premier League table: they’ve scored 10 goals and conceded just 3, with plenty of fantasy potential. Meanwhile Brighton have scored just 4 goals and conceded 3, they face a tough test when they visit the Etihad this weekend.
Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling, Aleksandra Zinchenko
There should be points galore from this trio in Gameweek 4. Aguero and Sterling have returned in every league game so far, with a combined nine goals. With Gabriel Jesus and Leroy Sane injured, they should be sure of starts this week.
City got off to a great start defensively with a clean sheet in their opening game, but have conceded since then. With Brighton missing Andone, it’s time for more clean sheets and Zinchenko is a safe route into that City defence.
All Out Attack: West Ham vs Norwich
West Ham and Norwich have both failed to keep a clean sheet this season, scoring a combined 10 goals, while conceding a combined 17 in their opening games. It’s likely to be a goal fest here, with not much in the way of defending.
West Ham: Sebastian Haller, Mark Noble
Norwich: Teemu Pukki, Todd Cantwell
Haller finally found his scoring boots this weekend after recovering from injury. He took his brace impressively against Watford and now has a shaky Norwich defence to exploit. It’s great to see penalty king, Mark Noble back in the Hammers side.
Teemu Pukki is the fantasy king. He’s had a hand in all six of Norwich’s goals this season and is leading the goalscorer charts. Meanwhile, Cantwell has made an impact too and tends to create the chances for the big man.
Clean Sheet Stack: Everton vs Wolves
Everton and wolves have three clean sheets between them, scoring a combined three goals and conceding four. This one has 0-0 written all over it with a lack of creativity and burnout from Europa League exploits.
Everton: Michael Keane, Yerry Mina
Wolves: Rui Patricio, Matt Doherty
Everton kept a shut out in their first home game of the season and look likely to again here. If a clean sheet doesn’t occur, this pair Kane and Mina can provide plenty of attacking threat in the box.
Patricio will amass points for saving shots: he’s the leading FPL goalkeeper with five saves plus a penalty save. Doherty is a constant threat, he managed four goals and seven assists last season.
