Gameweek 17 Daily Fantasy Premier League Tips

Last modified date

Gameweek 17 Daily

Three fixtures are in focus, given their goal and clean sheet potential, for our Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 17 daily picks.

Starting 11 Mini Leagues

Whilst these selections are based on the Starting 11 game and scoring system, you may also find them useful and relevant for Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 17.

Safe Spine: Spurs (vs Burnley)

Spurs are selected for the Gameweek 17 daily picks, having three wins in their last four games, scoring 10 goals during that time. They will be high on confidence following their progression to the Champions League knockout rounds. Elsewhere, Burnley have lost three of their last four games, conceding 7 goals and scoring just 3.

Gameweek 17 Daily Safe Spine

Harry Kane and Dele Alli lead the attack: Kane has returned 4 goals and 2 assists in his last 4 Premier League starts. His shooting statistics will gain points in the Starting 11 format, plus he’s on penalties. Alli has 2 goals in his last 3 Premier League starts.

Jan Vertonghen and Hugo Lloris take the defensive slots: Vertonghen has a goal this season, plus will score well in Starting 11 for tackle statistics. Lloris has two clean sheets in five, making 14 saves in that time.

Goals Galore: Manchester City vs Everton

It’s set to be an explosive game at the Etihad on Saturday for the Gameweek 17 Daily Goals Galore selection: Manchester City need to bounce back from their loss to Chelsea last weekend, the first game this season in which they failed to score.

City have kept just one clean sheet in their last six games, while scoring 18 goals. Everton have two clean sheets from their last six games, scoring 7 goals and conceding 5.

Gameweek 17 Daily Goals Galore

With question marks over Aguero, Raheem Sterling is chosen in the forward slot: he has 3 goals and 2 assists from his last 2 home starts. Riyad Mahrez was rested in the Champions League, so his starting berth looks likely here: he has a goal and and two assists from his last 3 starts.

It’s Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson selected from Everton: these target men tend to be involved in Everton’s goals. Richarlison has the goal scoring threat as he leads the line, with Sigurdsson the likely contributor. Richarlison has goals in back to back games. Sigurdsson should still be on penalties despite having his attempt saved against Newcastle.

Clean Sheet Stack: Chelsea (vs Brighton)

Chelsea have three clean sheets from their last five games, including that impressive shut out last weekend against Manchester City. Meanwhile, Brighton have failed to score in 4 games this season.

Gameweek 17 Daily Clean Sheet Stack

There’s potential for attacking returns alongside a clean sheet: Marcos Alonso has a goal and and 7 assists this season, plus David Luiz has one goal and will be awarded points for tackles too.

Kepa deserves the call up as our Gameweek 17 daily keeper: he has 37 saves to go alongside his 8 clean sheets, which could improve his overall score.
