GAFFR top picks for Gameweek 36

Last modified date

We go through the GAFFR top picks for Gameweek 36 using stats, form and fixture ahead. After a double Gameweek in Gameweek 35, we look ahead to the new round. Gameweek 36 starts on the 10th of March. This means managers have a short time to get their teams ready.

Going through the GAFFR top picks for Gameweek 36 can be hugely beneficial. As fantasy managers, we are always looking for players who could do really well in the next round. For that reason, picking out some of the best assets for the Gameweek ahead can be crucial when chasing down the competition.

Conor Roberts

Burnley are on course for promotion as they sit a huge 17 points clear of the play-off places at the top of the table. One of their many qualities is their defence. In their last 10 matches in all competitions they have managed to bank a massive seven clean sheets.

Their defence is fantastic and Burnley come into the new round hoping to extend their good run against a Wigan side who have won just one of their last 10 whilst also failing to score in four of them. Conor Roberts (£6.7m) could be the standout defensive option with fellow full-back Maatsen (£6.3m) out with injury. Roberts has netted twice in his last three matches whilst also keeping clean sheets in all of them. His clean sheet and offensive potential means he is an easy addition into the GAFFR top picks for Gameweek 36.

Viktor Gyökeres

There was a point in the season where Coventry were struggling for positive results which led to them sitting rock bottom of the table. That could not be further away from their current form. Sitting eighth in the league Coventry have fired their way back up the table and the biggest reason for that is Viktor Gyökeres (£8.4m).

The Swedish international sits as the highest scoring player in the game currently. His 17 goals and six assists total to 23 attacking returns in 35 matches this campaign and seven of that total came in his last four matches. Against a Hull side who have been inconsistent all season, Viktor could be considered as an essential going into Gameweek 36.

Chuba Akpom

Middlesbrough could be one of the best teams in the league to invest in moving forward. They have stormed their way to third place in the Championship, just seven points behind second place Sheffield United. Their recent form is fantastic and as well as winning eight of their last 10 league games they have also notched up a huge 23 goals, averaging 2.3 goals per game.

One of their biggest talents is Chuba Akpom (£6.6m). The GAFFR budget striker has picked up a monstrous 21 goals and one assist in his 28 league matches so far. More recently, Akpom has managed seven goals in his last six games. Reflecting brilliant form in a team full of goals it could be extremely difficult to exclude Akpom this week.

Tom Bradshaw

It could be a good week for strikers as we head into Millwall. Millwall are also edging in and around the play off places this season. They face a Reading side sinking down the table after losing six of their last 10 league matches.

Reading have also failed to keep a single clean sheets in any of their last 10 matches which indicates that investing in the Millwall attack could be really beneficial. Striker Tom Bradshaw (£6.7m) is in top form, scoring six goals and one assist in his last five games is enough to warrant his huge appeal going into Gameweek 36.
