FPL GW36 Transfers: Double Troubles

Last modified date

A look at which Fantasy Premier League (FPL) players have had the most transfers in and out so far this Gameweek.

FPL Transfers

These are the most bought and sold players so far, as of Thursday evening. Furthermore, the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) deadline is at 13:30 (GMT) on Saturday 7 May.

For the second successive Gameweek, Gabriel Jesus will be the most-bought player. He’s in a confident mood, having followed his four goals versus Watford by netting another at Leeds. With the appeal of his Man City side having such an enticing Double Gameweek against Newcastle and Wolves, it’s no surprise to see him emerge as an FPL option. However, having started their last four matches in all competitions, don’t be surprised to see him rotated.

All of the 27 most-bought will be playing twice in this Gameweek. Or at least their teams will be! At just £5.5m, managers believe Eddie Nketiah is worth a punt for Arsenal’s meetings with Leeds and Spurs.

Elsewhere, Everton’s survival hopes are seemingly pinned on Richarlison. He has four goals from his last five games and is the league leader for attempts, shots on target, shots inside the box and expected goals (xG) since Gameweek 31. Trips to a distracted Leicester and a Watford on 11 straight home defeats have great potential.

Despite their hideous home form, the Hornets’ own Emmanuel Dennis is also entering many squads. A cheap forward with a Double Gameweek against Crystal Palace and Everton, he’s replacing single Gameweek names like Ivan Toney and Armando Broja.

It’s incredible to see that, since Gameweek 32, only five players throughout the whole league have had more goal attempts than defender Marcos Alonso. If he starts both of Chelsea’s matches, you’d have to believe that at least one return will come from each end of the pitch.

As for transfers out, Sergio Reguilon’s season seems to be over. On his injury, Antonio Conte said: “I don’t know if it will be possible for him to come back.”

There are also doubts over Arsenal defender Ben White after he missed last Sunday’s win at West Ham. Finally, the sales of Harry Kane are most likely to reassign money to premium midfielders and defenders.
