FPL GW27 Transfers In and Out: Trendy Weghorst and lots of Southampton
A look at which FPL players have had the most transfers in and out this so far this Gameweek.
FPL Transfers
These are the most bought and sold players so far, as of Thursday afternoon. Furthermore, the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) deadline is at 18:30 (GMT) on Friday 25 February.
Halfway through his double-double, it’s no surprise to see Burnley forward Wout Weghorst as the week’s most-bought FPL asset. He has quickly become the focal point of their play and his goal and assist against Brighton set them up for successive wins and huge momentum in their quest for survival. He faces Crystal Palace (a) and Leicester (H) in Gameweek 27 with at least 166,000 new owners.
It’s hard to find new ways to describe Mohamed Salah but, for his many triple captainers, Gameweek 26 brought an incredible 84 points. He’s on over 56% ownership and suddenly we have a title race again. Salah features in both lists, with 74,000 managers wanting him gone for Blank Gameweek 27 regardless of selling price and the extra funds needed to buy him back.
Son Heung-min bagged two assists at Man City and has a very kind fixture run that includes Double Gameweek 29. First up are an awful Leeds defence that have conceded 16 goals in their last four outings.
Whether it’s a Free Hit or a regular transfer, James Ward-Prowse and Armando Broja are being bought by many in time for Southampton facing Norwich at home. Ward-Prowse creates chances from set pieces and open play, ranking first for corners taken, successful corners, crosses from free kicks and successful free kicks. Four goals and four assists from nine matches has caught the attention of almost 100,000 managers.
Broja is a cheap striker who also happens to be very good. He has the price of a bench option but the reliability to often be in starting XIs.
However, Diogo Jota is the most-sold asset by far because of his high ownership and current injury. Allan Saint-Maximin is also a doubt for the weekend, whilst Sergio Reguilon has been out with Covid. Owners of Michail Antonio have had enough of him, following just two goals in 17 league games.
