Salah absent from Monday’s training session
Although Jurgen Klopp was quick to dismiss injury worries after Mo Salah came off hurt against Brighton, the Egyptian reportedly missed training on Monday.
FPL captainers are nervous to see if Salah makes Wednesday’s trip to Arsenal – especially triple captainers. It’s a huge game for Liverpool against tough, in-form opponents and a chance to take advantage of Man City’s dropped points from last night.
He was substituted minutes after scoring a penalty on Saturday but will surely be given every opportunity to start this match. Furthermore, Salah loves facing Arsenal. From ten league appearances, he has netted eight goals and assisted four more, averaging 8.61 points per 90 minutes.
Liverpool amongst those targeting Raphinha transfer
Regardless of whether Leeds stay up or go down, the departure of star man Raphinha feels inevitable. Following past links with Bayern Munich, journalist Fabrizio Romano believes Barcelona and Liverpool are also interested. Likewise Chelsea, although their off-pitch situation obviously halts any movement there.
After the early success of January signing Luis Diaz, Liverpool are starting the planning process for future life without Salah and Sadio Mane. Neutrals love watching Raphinha, although recent Gameweeks have frustrated FPL owners.
He hit the crossbar against Norwich and did everything but score, with his last three matches having an expected goal involvement (xGI) total of 2.83. No player has created more chances over their last four matches than Raphinha (13).
