With less than 48 hours before the deadline, it’s time to lock in the FPL Gameweek 1 Team.

We’ve had a whole month to tinker, but news in the transfer window and the current climate do present their challenges.

FPL Team Updates

Since our previous draft, a number of changes have been made, mainly given the injuries to Andrew Robertson and the doubts over Ollie Watkins & Dominic Calvert-Lewin. There’s a move back to a more traditional 3-4-3, with Konstantinos Tsimikas (£4.0m) now making up the Liverpool double up. This has allowed for an upgrade of cash into midfield, with room for Harvey Barnes (£7.0m) who impressed in the Community Shield.

The forward line has seen a shake-up, with Danny Ings (£8.0m) and Callum Wilson (£7.5m) coming in for their good fixtures with a clean bill of health. The other changes are negligible to the bench, with Daniel Amartey (£4.0m) the best cheap fifth defender for now and Coufal the first substitute.
