FPL experts ahead of Gameweek 25

Last modified date

We take a look at some of the FPL experts ahead of Gameweek 25. With the new round approaching, we check out what some of the most elite managers have been talking about in the build up to the latest round of Fantasy Premier League.

Looking at what some of the FPL experts ahead of Gameweek 25 are talking about could be highly beneficial to other managers. Whether they discuss expected minutes, potential transfer targets, chip strategy or other key factors, it can all help to provide clarity within our own teams.

@FPL_Harry

Fantasy Football Scout contributor and content creator Harry shared the same feeling many within the community have. Chelsea have been especially disappointing this season. The Blues slumped to another poor result in Gameweek 24.

Chelsea play in blank Gameweek 25 and also have great fixtures ahead. However their recent form could well put managers off in terms of investment and even assets like defender Reece James (£5.8m) may well be exiting the minds of some of the most experienced managers out there.

@FlapjackFpl

Fantasy Football content creator and experienced FPL manager Flapjack looks to be getting set for Gameweek 25. Brentford, Brighton, Manchester United and Newcastle all blank in the round ahead but Liverpool, Arsenal, Everton and Wolves have a double Gameweek.

Many will be looking to double Gameweek players for their captaincy and one of those players being considered is Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Salah (£12.6m). The Egyptian has lacked consistency this season but with fixtures against Wolves and Crystal Palace ahead, he could be the standout captaincy option.

@FPL_BlackWolf

Fantasy Football Community contributor and experienced FPL manager BlackWolf highlighted something very important ahead of Gameweek 25. The avid Wolves fan helped confirm that defender Hugo Bueno (£3.9m) started the match against Bournemouth in Gameweek 24.

Many with the community questioned Bueno’s expected minutes going forward because he failed to start one of their most recent matches. However the £3.9m enabler could be a solid option going forward and especially for the double Gameweek in the round ahead.

@fplblackbox_az

Fantasy Football Scout contributor and respected FPL manager Az also highlighted something of significance ahead of Gameweek 25. Many managers have been deliberating over which Arsenal defender to choose for their double Gameweek.

Whilst most chose Ben White (£4.7m) or Gabriel (£5.2m) some selected Ukrainian Oleksandr Zinchenko (£5.1m). The former Manchester City man had a better expected goal involvement than his defensive teammates over the last six Gameweeks. However he finally cashed in on that with a goal against Aston Villa in Gameweek 24.

@Pras_FPL

Fantasy Football Scout contributor and experienced FPL manager Pras provided the community with an excellent slice of content ahead of Gameweek 25. Pras looks at five different chip strategies for fellow managers.

Blank and double Gameweeks can be some of the most vital periods in any given season for managers. For those that still have those all important chips left, knowing when to use those chips will be absolutely key to the success of our fantasy seasons.
