Forward planning for Gameweek 37 and 38 can be absolutely vital to the success of any given managers season. The latter stage of the season is one of the most important periods in FPL so being able to target the right teams and players could be key.

Should we play a chip?

Yes. The next two Gameweeks are the only remaining rounds of the season. Double Gameweeks can have a much higher ceiling for points than single Gameweeks. For that reason, utilising the chips we have left now could be key. Lets take a look at the chips individually:

Free hit – The Free hit could be best used in Gameweek 37 where four teams have a double Gameweek. This allows managers to select the best three assets from each of those sides whilst also adding the best single Gameweek players.
Wildcard – The Wildcard could also be used now. This could help managers to maximise both of the remaining Gameweeks ahead.
Bench boost – Many managers will have strong benches at this point so playing the bench boost in Gameweek 37 for the doubles could be a wise move.
Triple captain – Many should be looking to triple captain Erling Haaland or even Marcus Rashford in Gameweek 37 for their doubles.
