Should we play a chip?
Yes. The next two Gameweeks are the only remaining rounds where we will have doubles. Double Gameweeks can have a much higher ceiling for points than single Gameweeks. For that reason, utilising the chips we have left now could be key. Lets take a look at the chips individually:
- Free hit – The Free hit could be best used in Gameweek 37 where four teams have a double Gameweek. This allows managers to select the best three assets from each of those sides whilst also adding the best single Gameweek players.
- Wildcard – The Wildcard could also be used now. This could help managers to maximise both of the double Gameweeks ahead.
- Bench boost – Many managers will have strong benches at this point so playing the bench boost in Gameweek 37 for the doubles could be a wise move.
- Triple captain – Gameweek 36 could be an option with either Kieran Trippier, Callum Wilson or Alexander Isak. However, many will be looking to triple captain Erling Haaland or even Marcus Rashford in Gameweek 37 for their doubles.
