Forward planning for Gameweek 32 and 33

Last modified date

We take a look at forward planning for Gameweek 32 and 33. With the help of the Fantasy Football Scout members area we can utilise its fixture ticker and underlying stats to pick out the best teams and players to target for the Gameweeks ahead.

Forward planning for Gameweek 32 and 33 can be absolutely vital to the success of any given managers season. The latter stage of the season is one of the most important periods in FPL so being able to target the right teams and players could be key.

Gameweek 32 and 33 fixtures

Below the fixture ticker orders the teams in difficulty order for the next two Gameweeks. The teams at the top have the best fixtures whilst the teams at the bottom have the worst fixtures. We can also see that there is a blank Gameweek in 32 for teams including Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Brighton.

Teams with the best fixtures

Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, Leicester, Liverpool and Fulham all rank amongst the top five teams with the best fixtures.

Teams with the worst fixtures

Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Brighton and Nottingham Forest all rank amongst the bottom five teams with the worst fixtures.

Key players for Gameweek 32 and 33

It is also important to highlight the players with the most potential over the next two Gameweeks. Amongst those assets include:

  • Crystal Palace – Midfielders Michael Olise (£5.5m) and Eberechi Eze (£5.4m).
  • Bournemouth – Striker Dominic Solanke (£5.5m).
  • Leicester – Midfielder James Maddison (£8.2m).
  • Liverpool – Defenders Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.3m), Andrew Robertson (£6.8m), midfielder Mohamed Salah (£12.8m) and striker Darwin Nunez (£8.7m).
  • Fulham – Midfielder Andreas Pereira (£4.3m).
  • Leeds – Striker Patrick Bamford (£7.1m).
  • Newcastle – Defender Kieran Trippier (£6.2m) and striker Alexander Isak (£6.7m).
  • Aston Villa – Striker Ollie Watkins (£7.6m).
  • Brentford – Goalkeeper David Raya (£4.9m) and striker Ivan Toney (£7.8m).
  • West Ham – Midfielder Jarrod Bowen (£8m).
  • Tottenham – Striker Harry Kane.
  • Arsenal – Midfielders Bukayo Saka (£8.6m), Gabriel Martinelli (£6.7m) and striker Gabriel Jesus (£8.1m).

Should I use a chip?

Gameweek 32 could be the last best time to use the free chip. Many managers own Brighton, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United assets so using the free hit allows us to keep those assets for the run ahead.

Managers could also consider the use of their wildcard chip. This gives managers the opportunity to build a balanced squad for the blank Gameweek in 32 and Gameweek 33.

There are better Gameweeks ahead to utilise the triple captain and bench boost chip so using them in this period could be unwise.
