Double Gameweek announcement: 4 matches added to GW26
On Thursday morning, the Premier League have announced that four previously-postponed matches have been rearranged into Gameweek 26 – created a Double Gameweek for eight sides.
NEW GW26 ADDITIONS
Burnley v Tottenham (Wednesday 23rd February, 19:30)
Watford v Crystal Palace (Wednesday 23rd February, 19:30)
Liverpool v Leeds (Wednesday 23rd February, 19:45)
Arsenal v Wolves (Thursday 24th February, 19:45)
The following eight teams have a Double Gameweek 26:
ARSENAL vs Brentford (H), Wolves (H)
BURNLEY vs Brighton (a), Tottenham (H)
CRYSTAL PALACE vs Chelsea (H), Watford (a)
LEEDS vs Man United (H), Liverpool (a)
LIVERPOOL vs Norwich (H), Leeds (H)
TOTTENHAM vs Man City (a), Burnley (a)
WATFORD vs Aston Villa (a), Crystal Palace (H)
WOLVES vs Leicester (H), Arsenal (a)
The immediate stand-out is Liverpool’s double at home to Norwich and Leeds – a prime candidate for Mohamed Salah triple captaincy. It’s also a strong Double Gameweek for Arsenal, which is good news for owners of Aaron Ramsdale. Perhaps an attacking asset like Bukayo Saka or Gabriel Martinelli will become popular again.
