1. Tools

Team structure and formation are the key topics for the latest article over on Premier Fantasy Tools. Instead of committing to one formation, flexibility could be the answer.

2. Junior

FPL Junior is downgrading the attack, to make crucial upgrades in midfield and defence. Some high-profile managers deployed that strategy last season with great success, but it goes against historical conventions.

3. Tips

Rather than a bold five at the back, many managers are opting for a more comfortable back four. FPL Tips studies this potential formation in his latest YouTube video.

4. Christensen

Rasmus Christensen puts plenty of analysis in to decipher which formation could be the best for the season ahead. There’s a convincing argument for 5-3-2 or a 5-2-3.

5. Prince

The FPL Prince breaks down the argument to look at the points differential between a premium defender and a mid-priced premium option. Could the value lie in the premium defenders?

6. Tipz

FPL Tipz has put together a thread covering formation for this season. Those bench options could be important at least to begin with, when starting lineups are somewhat unknown.

7. Joe

Joe from Fantasy Football Scout feels uncomfortable with the big at the back strategy. It provides little flexibility in FPL squads and reduces the appeal of the overall game by chasing clean sheets.

8. Hopcroft

Adam Hopcroft looks at all players in a particularly price category to decipher which formation to go with. Defenders are top of the chart, at least from Liverpool, but some budget attackers aren’t far behind.

9. Murray

Neil Murray considers the number of players available at various price points in the game and considers the impact that this can have on the potential formation of your FPL squad this season.

10. Blake

Peter Blake returns with another detailed analysis, looking at optimal team structure. The fixtures are important here in making those assumptions and modelling future outcomes.
