Community Score Predictions: Gameweek 10
When making FPL decisions many FPL managers mentally predict the outcome of matches
- Who will win?
- Will there be a clean sheet in this match?
- How many goals can I see being scored?
- How many players do I want to play in this game?
Last week our panel predicted 25 wins correctly and 11 draws correctly. With FPL Talking Points predicting the most correct results, managing seven of the ten matches.
We the managers to take a look at the Gameweek 10 fixtures, to predict the results and explain what they think this means for FPL decision making.

FPL Shake n Bake
10 goals and 8 assists have been scored by right wingers and right backs against Norwich this season, so if Raphinha is fit, I will be looking to bring him in. I also like the look of Leicester vs Arsenal. Both Jamie Vardy and James Maddison have had transfer sagas including the Gunners in the past, and it’s usually written in the script that those in a similar situation stat in games between the two clubs. Finally it has to be said, that the way Man Utd are looking currently, we could see Harry Kane and Heung Min Son getting back to last seasons glories
FPL Focus
I think during Gameweek 10 we will see some clear favourites winning, the likes of Man City for example. Man City face Crystal Palace, and whilst the Eagles have been playing well I dont think it will be enough to over come City but still see them nicking a goal with Zaha back.
I also suspect Liverpool will carry on their strong form, with Salah now dubbed the perma captain by many, but with Lamptey back ill be keeping an eye on how he does for sure. Chelsea, after an impressive 7-0 win in Gameweek 9, go to manager less Newcastle who have not looked solid defensively.
I can see a draw in the Arsenal v Leicester game as both teams are regularly scoring goals and have be prone to conceding the odd goal most matches this season. West Ham on the other hand look defensively solid and they have a spoil of centre backs to choose from with Dawson, Ogbonna and Zouma. Even with their defensive security I can still see Aston Villa nicking a goal through the likes of a Bailey and Buendia. Brentford may be without Mbuemo but i think if he is fit to start they go to Burnley to show them what they are about, the fixture that intrigues me most though is Spurs v Man Utd, both have not performed well but both have great players in the squad, tactically who will come out on to on the day perhaps a cagey affair I’ve opted for a draw.
FPL Inzaghi
Ranieri effect in full swing with a win against Southampton. I also can’t see anything other than Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool marching on in style to impressive victories in Gameweek 10. For me I don’t think that there will be anything to separate Leicester and Arsenal. I do think with all off the talk about Manchester United this week and whether Ole should stay or go, they will get a consolation win at Spurs
FPL El Statto
You would expect Liverpool and City to win well this week so their offensive assets and full backs will be well backed this week. I can see many of the other games going either way. Leicester vs Arsenal is an interesting fixture. Expect both to score but both in good form, hopefully a high scoring game will see some of their cheaper assets return well
FPL Talking Points
Last gameweek, somehow my estimations of Man City, Liverpool, and Chelsea were far too low. That lesson has been learned, and I expect all three to win big in GW10. Those disappointed in Kai Havertz not returning in any of Chelsea’s 7 goals against Norwich, can have higher hopes after a goal and 90 minutes in the central striking role yet again.
The time may have also come to decide on a Man City attacker and just hang on for the ride. Phil Foden’s form combined with the absence of Ferran Torres means that we can deal with a little rotation if he continues to haul.
Meanwhile, I predict a 0-0 out of spite for the Spurs Man United match after both burned me so bad last weekend.
FPL Rabbi
With the news that Raphinha is fit for the Norwich trip many managers are hoping for a big haul. While I’m also one of them, I would take any kind of return. Leeds are struggling at the moment without Bamford and played a strong 11 midweek in the League Cup at the Emirates against Arsenal.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City assets look good for FPL returns once again but as a double Manchester City and Chelsea defence owner I do worry a bit. Callum Wilson has hit form since coming back from injury and we know Crystal Palace are City’s black sheep. Even if Crystal Palace losing at the Etihad, I can see them scoring a consolation goal and wiping out City’s clean sheet.
