@FPLReaction' first FPL draft

Community reactions from Gameweek 2

Last modified date

Delving into the FPL Twitter community to cover some community reactions from Gameweek 2. Looking at both the negative and positivewe see how key moments in the second round affected members of the community in the world of FPL.

Seeing some of the FPL community reactions in any Gameweek can always be fun. Not just that but it also helps managers gage which teams or players stood out in a negative or positive way. This could even lead to FPL managers making better decisions for the gameweek ahead.

@Linn_FPL_

After £5m Aston Villa midfielder Leon Bailey failed to start for Aston Villa Linn took to Twitter to give some great alternative options. At the time of writing Bailey is owned by 17% of the FPL community so many managers could now be looking for other options.

£11.6m striker Haaland failed to touch the ball in the first 20 minutes. The captaincy favourite put some doubt in managers minds and seconds later created the assist for the first Man City goal. Haaland could well be captained heavily next game week as Man City face Newcastle.

@GianniButtice

Gianni highlights two things. The first was Gabriel Jesus’s brace. The Arsenal forward passed the eye test in game week 1 but with no reward. His brace will be celebrated hugely by the FPL community as he started the season as the most owned player in the game.

FPL managers may even start considering giving Jesus the captaincy. Arsenal come up against Bournemouth in gameweek 3 and after their dismantling by Man City it could be a great idea.

@ZhouFPL

@ZhouFPL highlights Leeds forward £6m Rodrigo’s performance. With Bamford going off injured Rodrigo could become the main man. The striker has now scored three goals in Gameweek 1 and 2 combined. This indicates he could be a great option for FPL managers moving forward.

@NathanBaconFC

Nathan reflects how many FPL managers could be feeling after that Maddison goal. The £8m midfielder looked lively in Gameweek 1 and topped several key attacking data points. The midfielder could well be a top target in Gameweek 3 against Southampton.
