Below we can see the fixtures for the opening weekend. Using the link below the graphic we can also check out the full fixture schedule.

The relegated sides

Teams relegated from the Premier League and joining the Championship this season include Leicester, Leeds and Southampton. Leicester face a tough opener against Coventry who made it all of the way to the play-off final last season. The Foxes also have Huddersfield, Cardiff, and Rotherham in their first four games and will be expected to get off to a great start.

Leeds will hope they can secure three points in their opening game against Cardiff. They also have games against Birmingham, West Brom and Ipswich in their early games. Leeds will also be expected to do well early on.

Southampton have an interesting clash against newly promoted Sheffield Wednesday who could prove difficult as they play at home. The Saints then go onto face Norwich, Plymouth and QPR in their first four games which could prove tricky.
