Best Leicester picks for Double Gameweek 33
Leicester City are one of seven teams to play twice in Double Gameweek 33. In fact the Foxes play three Double Gameweeks between now and the end of the season. With Leicester finding some good form in the League their assets are proving popular picks. We assess the best Leicester picks for Double Gameweek 33.
Leicester have won four of their last six Premier League games and they have three Double Gameweeks to play before the end of the season. As a result Leicester assets are proving to be popular choices with FPL managers. In the absence of Jamie Vardy there are plenty of other picks for FPL managers to invest in.
Underlying Stats
Over the six Gameweeks James Maddison has more attacking returns than any other Leicester player.
However it is Harvey Barnes who has had the most attempts on goal in that period. His 17 attempts are more than double any of his teammates. Of his 17 attempts 14 have come from inside the box, also the most across the Leicester City team. Only Iheanacho has had more big chances than Barnes in the last six Gameweeks.
In the same period Maddison has created the most chances for his teammates. His 13 chances, are almost double that of second place Keirnan Dewsbury-Hall. Of his chances created, three have been classed as big chances, again a team leading total.
Leicester have kept two clean sheets in the last six Gameweeks. Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has made 22 saves in that period. Only Brentford’s Raya and Meslier from Leeds have made more saves in this period, this bodes well for additional goalkeeping points for Leicester’s number one.
Ownership for Double Gameweek
In the top 10k of FPL managers only two Leicester players are owned by more than 10% of the game. Unsurprisingly these are Maddison and Barnes.
However, only 115 managers in the top 10k own both of them. This means that owning one of these plus any other Leicester player will be a great differential heading into Double Gameweek 33 and beyond.
Daniel Amartey is the most popular defensive pick from Leicester in the top 10k of FPL managers, he is currently owned by 9.48%. Goalkeeper Schmeichel is the next most popular defensive option owned by 7.31% of managers.
