Best FPL assets since the restart

Last modified date

Whilst the Premier League is taking a short break due to Cup action, we can look back and reflect on the best FPL assets since the restart. Whether it be goals, assists, clean sheets or bonus points, we overview how the highest scoring players earned their points since Gameweek 17.

During the break it could be wise to look at the best FPL assets since the restart to look for some of the most in-form assets ahead of the new Gameweek. Looking back aid managers with some of the biggest decisions including transfers, captaincy and chip usage moving forward.

Erling Haaland

Manchester City striker Erling Halaand (£12.2m) is one of the three players leading the pack since the restart. Notching up a whopping 46 points, Haaland bagged a huge seven goals and accumulated seven bonus points in that same period.

Haaland’s impressive run could continue with fixtures against Tottenham, Aston Villa, Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth ahead.

Solly March

It may come as no surprise that one of the leading point scorers since the restart plays for Brighton. Midfielder Solly March (£5.2m) has been a revelation since the World Cup. He sits as one of three of the highest scoring players.

His 46 points consist of three double-digit hauls, four goals, one assist and nine bonus points. March faces fixtures against the likes of Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Fulham and Leeds ahead, so could make his way into even more FPL teams.

Marcus Rashford

Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford (£7.2m) completes the trio of the highest scoring players since the restart. The midfielder has been in fine form racking up 46 points with his five goals, one assist and six bonus points.

Rashford is scheduled to have a double Gameweek in Gameweek 22 with fixtures against Crystal Palace and Leeds. Many managers within the community could even be deliberating the activation of their triple captain chip.

Riyad Mahrez

Manchester City’s Riyad Mahrez (7.6m) may not be amongst the best three assets since the restart, but he’s not far off. The Algerian managed a massive 45 points in that period, just one point shy of the top three.

Amongst the 45 points is three goals, four assists and seven bonus points. Like his teammate Haaland, he too faces a double Gameweek ahead so managers could even be looking to bring the midfielder into their fantasy teams.

Kieran Trippier

Kieran Trippier (£6m) has been one of the best assets in the game this season. That shows no signs of slowing down as he has bagged 45 points since the restart. Trippier’s points include five clean sheets, an assist and an incredible 14 bonus points.
