Best differentials in Gameweek 28

Last modified date

We take a look at some of the best differentials in FPL Gameweek 28. With the help of the Fantasy Football Scout members area, we can use its underlying stats and fixture difficulty rating system to help us pick out some of the best players with low ownership for the round ahead.

Looking at the best differentials in FPL Gameweek 28 can be very beneficial to FPL managers in their quest to reaching their goals. Differentials can be vital to those that are looking to get ahead of their competition or gain rank.

Fixture ticker

Below we can see teams with the best fixtures at the top. All of the way down to teams with the worst fixtures at the bottom.

Son Heung-min

Tottenham rank third on the fixture ticker this week. They face Southampton in blank Gameweek 28 who are struggling in a relegation battle and who have won just three of their last 10 matches in all competitions.

Ranking amongst the best teams for goals scored this season Tottenham have proven they can score goals. Someone who does need to prove his quality this campaign is Son Heung-min (£11.6m). The South Korean attacker has failed to match his previous season but after a nine point return due to his goal in Gameweek 27, could we see an uptake in form, especially against a poor Southampton?

Leandro Trossard

Arsenal continue their path to success as they sit top of the Premier League. Their free-scoring qualities mean it is well worth investing in their attack. In fact in the last six matches amongst all teams they rank first for goals (17), first for shots in the box (139) and joint first for shots on target (38).

Whilst many back other midfield options some could go for differential Leandro Trossard (£6.6m). The midfielder started his last match for Arsenal and banked a huge 15 point-haul picking up three assists in the process. With a game against an inconsistent Crystal Palace next up, Trossard could have big potential.

Wesley Fofana

Chelsea rank second on the fixture ticker in Gameweek 28. They have a match against relegation battlers Everton this week. The Toffees rank joint worst for goals scored this season (20). Because of this it could be worth backing the Chelsea defence.

Since Chelsea returned to their back three system they have managed to keep three clean sheets in four games. Whilst many opt for injury prone Ben Chilwell (£5.9m) some could consider Wesley Fofana (£4.3m). The centre-back looks nailed into the defence an even showed goal threat in one of his most recent games scoring and picking up a 14-point haul. At his price-tag, Fofana could even be a mainstay within our teams.

Dominic Solanke

Bournemouth have a great fixture ahead. Although scoring plenty of goals Aston Villa are conceding some concerning defensive stats. In fact, amongst all teams in the league in the last six Gameweeks they rank the worst for big chances conceded (20).

One player who is being overlooked is Dominic Solanke (£5.5m). The striker is the focal point to the Bournemouth attack and also takes his teams penalties. Solanke has just 1.8% ownership in the game so could be one of the best differentials in Gameweek 28, especially when considering his opponent’s defensive stats.
