Best differentials for Gameweek 31

Last modified date

We take a look at some of the best differentials for FPL Gameweek 31. With the help of the Fantasy Football Scout members area, we can use its underlying stats and fixture difficulty rating system to help us pick out some of the best players with low ownership for the round ahead.

Looking at the best differentials for FPL Gameweek 31 can be very beneficial to FPL managers in their quest to reaching their goals. Differentials are also vital to those that are looking to get ahead of their competition or gain rank.

Fixtures

Pedro Porro

Tottenham claim top spot on the fixture ticker for Gameweek 31. They have a game against the struggling Bournemouth. The Cherries have been maintaining some of the worst defensive and offensive underlying statistics all season, highlighting them as a team to target.

One way route into both the attack and defence is Pedro Porro (£4.8m). Tottenham play with a back-three system giving their wing-backs the freedom to advance forward. Because of this Porro could have huge potential and the fact he has picked up a goal and an assist in his last four league games only increases his credentials.

Michael Olise

Crystal Palace recently parted ways with former manager Patrick Viera after a string of poor results. Many questioned the appointment and return of Roy Hodgson but the impact he has made is undeniable. Since taking over Crystal Palace have won two games on the bounce.

With an uptake in form and scoring, seven goals in two matches to be precise, Hodgson’s men take on relegation battling Southampton next. The best way into the Crystal Palace front-line could be Michael Olise (£5.4m). The midfielder has picked up back-to-back returns in FPL and could easily extend that against the Saints in Gameweek 31.

Alexander Isak

The goals dried up for Newcastle recently but they seem to have overcome that. A good example of this is the fact that they have scored two or more goals in four of their last five matches. One of the biggest contributors to that success is Alexander Isak (£6.7m).

The Swedish super star has managed to return in four of his last five matches including a double-digit haul. Isak comes up against an Aston Villa side amongst the four worst teams in the league this season for big chances conceded. In great form and playing for a side scoring plenty of goals, Isak could be a fantastic differential for Gameweek 31.

Anthony Martial

With the unfortunate news of Marcus Rashford’s injury comes an opportunity for injury returnee Anthony Martial (£6.3m). The striker has been out of action for a while but with 30 minutes under his belt in his most recent game, could well start the next match.

In the 30 minutes Martial did play in Gameweek 30, he scored. The Frenchman faces a poor Nottingham Forest defence in the upcoming round. Furthermore, his opponent rank the joint worst for goals conceded this season (54). Martial could have huge potential this week and he also has master creator Bruno Fernandes behind him which only boosts his appeal.
