Best budget enablers for Gameweek 27

Last modified date

We reel off some of the best budget enablers for Gameweek 27 with the help of the fantastic tools available in the Fantasy Football Scout members area. We also take into consideration form, fixtures and stats to help us.

Looking at some of the best budget enablers for Gameweek 27 can be hugely beneficial to FPL managers. Cheap players help enable funds elsewhere within our fantasy teams which also aids fitting in the more pricier options in the game.

Fixtures

Below we can see the fixtures for Gameweek 27 in difficulty order. The teams with the easiest fixtures lay at the top all the way down to the teams with the toughest fixtures at the bottom.

Brentford

Brentford have a double Gameweek in the round ahead. Because of this, the fact they play in blank Gameweek 28 and have a double Gameweek in 29 make them one of the best teams to invest in. What is even more significant is that they have some fantastically priced assets.

Defensively, managers could opt for full-back Rico Henry (£4.5m) who ranks above his defensive teammates for non penalty expected goal involvement in the last six matches. Some could go even cheaper with centre-back Ethan Pinnock (£4.4m) who scored in his most recent match.

Brentford have some very good offensive enabling options too. One of them is Bryan Mbeumo (£5.8m). The Nigerian striker has two returns in his last four games including a double-digit haul. For managers that want to go even cheaper they could opt for midfielder Yoane Wissa (£5.3m) who collected six returns this season.

Brighton

Brighton also have a favourable double Gameweek in the round ahead. Amongst all teams in the last six they rank as one of the best teams for key defensive and offensive data points. This could indicate that investing in their assets could be beneficial.

What is even more appealing is their players also fall under the budget enabler bracket. Their exciting attacking options include striker Evan Ferguson (£4.6m) who is the cheapest way into the frontline but not necessarily the most effective. Most should consider midfielders Alexis Mac Allister (£5.4m), Kaoru Mitoma (£5.5m) and Solly March (5.1m). All three players have hit at least one double-digit haul in their last three games.

Defensively many should be looking at full-back Pervis Estupinan (£4.8m). He has banked returns in all of his last six matches in the Premier League. Centre-back Lewis Dunk (£4.7m) is another option but he has only picked up three returns in his last six matches.

Sven Botman

Newcastle face a game against Wolves who have scored the joint least goals in the league this season (19). They also have a fixture in Gameweek 28 and a double Gameweek in 29, so investing in their assets holds plenty of appeal.

Amongst all teams in the league Newcastle rank the best for goals conceded (17), the best for clean sheets kept (12) and the best for big chances conceded (34). Newcastle have the best defence in the league and because of this and his price, Sven Botman (£4.5m) is a great enabling asset.
