Last modified date

FPL Gameweek 31 Tips

The midweek fixtures are upon us so here’s the FPL Gameweek 31 tips.

If you are in need of some last minute FPL Gameweek 31 tips, the community have you covered with their content.

Schedule

Ben Crellin has done a fantastic job of collating all the rest times between fixtures now that more television schedules have been confirmed. This midweek it’s a quick turnaround for Burnley, Everton, Liverpool and Manchester City.

Chips

Many managers are considering playing their Wildcard or Free Hit chips this week. Ted Talks FPL has crunched the numbers on which teams to target when, based on upcoming fixtures and the quality of the opposition.

Captain

The captaincy debate is wide open for the FPL Gameweek 31 tips. However, given Norwich’s poor performance last week, FPL General recommends given the armband to an Everton player who faces them this week.

Odds

FPL Salah brings the bookies odds for Gameweek 31, complete with anytime scorer and clean sheet percentages. It’s Liverpool who are top of the tree, but it will be a concern for many that Mo Salah played no part in the Merseyside derby.

Targets

For those in the wildcard camp, FPL Prince looks at the key players to target in his latest Twitter thread. There’s seven players to consider across the positions and they should all certainly be under consideration.

Wildcard

One manager with the wildcard activated is FPL Tips. His latest team selection video is now live on the YouTube channel, with a few intriguing picks in there. Jamie Vardy could be an interesting player to own for the season run-in.

Free Hit

Elsewhere, FPL Connect is one of several managers opting for the Free Hit route this week. It’s an interesting strategy, with the number of weeks in which to use our remaining chips dwindling.

Forwards

Aubameyang has seen plenty of sales ahead of the Gameweek 31 deadline, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Diogo Jota being some of the popular names to replace him at a budget price. FPL Alex compares the two.

Rotation

For those toying with players to include on wildcard, FPL Tipz has stumbled upon a cheap defensive rotation which could prove fruitful for the season run-in. We need strength and depth in our squads for this period.

Picks

If you are struggling to decide which player or players to transfer in for Gameweek 31, FPL Swede has it all covered in this recommendations thread. He’s got an excellent track record from this already.

Keepers

If you are shopping for goalkeepers on wildcard or have the injured Bernd Leno, Let’s Talk FPL’s Andy has a couple of names to consider. The good news is that we now have a cheap option worth considering.

Differentials

Looking at the wider game, it’s a good point in the season to gain on your rivals by selecting some differentials. FPL Cheetah puts forward a number of midfielders who could give you an edge.

Review

Bakar is back with his informative Twitter thread reviewing all the key statistics from Gameweek 30 and how they should impact our teams for Gameweek 31. Top of the list, it’s what to do with Aubameyang.

Preview

Finally, in the latest episode of the Always Cheating Podcast, Josh and Brandon discuss their takeaways from the opening game of the restart and consider the best players for the midweek games and beyond.
