Earlier this week, I provided a preview of my potential Gameweek 1 squad over on YouTube. This is my debut video over on the Fantasy Football Community channel and any support you can give is welcomed – please subscribe, like, comment and share!1. General
After suffering for large parts of last season, The General returns with the first of his FPL drafts. It’s an early adoption of a 4-4-2 formation, including 3 players from Manchester City and Liverpool. De Bruyne gets the nod as the attacking option from Manchester City.A very quick first draft.

Lots will change in the next 40 days. pic.twitter.com/BBKWk5ul4A
2. Crellin
Blank and double gameweek guru, Ben Crellin, has also adopted the 4-4-2: there’s already a trend emerging for triple City and Liverpool, along with King and Jota as the front 2. However, it’s Sterling and Bernardo Silva who provide the attacking coverage from Manchester City.First draft… pic.twitter.com/F5AhMfLtTR

3. Tips
FPL Tips is back with more great graphics on YouTube and the first of his FPL Drafts is a less popular 4-4-3. The formalities continue, with Sterling as the City attacker and it’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Troy Deeney who force their way in as differentials up front: a budget approach.? NEW #FPL VIDEO ?

4. WGTA
Who got the assist?’s Tom has been the key advocate of L-A-R-D for the season ahead: that’s a backline of Laporte, Alexander-Arnold, Robertson and Digne for those not in the know. It’s a budget keeper to afford Sterling up front and Brooks joins mainstay King for a Cherries attacking double up.Me, pre-launch: I will get a strong bench to start the #FPL season, ensuring I have at least 2 able to come off in case of injury or rotation

5. Murray
King of Twitter threads, Neil Murray, has ticked all the boxes in his FPL first draft. All that analysis has helped him to embrace LARD, with just 5 Premier League sides featuring in his first Gameweek 1 lineup. Mo Salah looks to be the permanent captain! My current team (4 at the back ?):

3 x MCI
3 x LIV
2 x BOU (GW 1 & 2) ??
2 x EVE (Great first 6 fixtures) ?
Considering Mili over Zaha still. pic.twitter.com/ArzjOUT3HT
6. Cheaters
Josh, from the excellent Always Cheating podcast, has gone on a different tact from the rest of the community emerging template. It’s still a 4 at the back, with triple Liverpool, but there’s two premium strikers in the form of Harry kane and Sergio Aguero!I love how seriously I took putting together this Gameweek 1 team that will change roughly 18 trillion times before the season starts. #FPL #hailcheaters pic.twitter.com/UcxWHDHjqW

7. Hints
FPL Hints has made the leap to go with the more expensive Callum Wilson up front, over his counterpart Josh King. Premium Manchester City coverage is sacrificed in order to afford him though, with Bernardo Silva coming in at a more budget friendly price.x3 LIV, x3 MCI, x3 EVE pic.twitter.com/Glu6N7fq3e

8. Fly
FPL Fly is never one to conform, goading the hardcore community with his confidence in his first draft. A double up on City midfielders is interesting, and big money moves for Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire are forecast in a less template defence.Done. See you in May. Losers. #FPL pic.twitter.com/VKKwuUReI5

9. Andy
Let’s Talk FPL’s Andy has taken the hype over premium defenders one step further, by going with 5 at the back. The quadruple Manchester United won’t be allowed to stay. Sterling and Salah are the mainstays of the squad, with Jamie Vardy a differential as the lone striker. The plan is taking shape.

Start with a solid defence and the points will come #FPL pic.twitter.com/1UaU3E7C42
10. Prince
It’s no surprise to see two Everton players in the first FPL drafts of FPL Prince! A Cherries double up is also on the cards, with Lloris taking the role between the sticks. With Salah overlooked for selection, it’s Sadio Mane who provisionally wears the Gameweek 1 captain armband. Here’s how my team currently looks…
— FPL Prince ? (@TheFPLPrince) July 3, 2019
? Triple Liverpool
? Double City
? Digne and Sigurdsson
? Double Bournemouth
? Jota and King up front
How’s your team looking? #FPL pic.twitter.com/0niy8uwHFU
11. Gower
FPL players love an acronym: DGW, TC, FDR are mainstays of any serious Fantasy Premier League enthusiasts. The fun doesn’t stop there, with the emergence of L-A-R-D in many early drafts. However, Andrew Gower has gone one step further and has turned his entire squad into an acronym: F-A-N-T-A-S-Y-F-O-O-T-B-A-L-L! Top work. We’ve had RAM, we’ve had RAD. I’ve seen LARD recently but today I introduce you to FANTASY FOOTBALL:#FPL #FPLCommunity #FantasyPL #FantasyFootball pic.twitter.com/ZW6sEaVT6O
