Alexis Mac Allister to Liverpool

Liverpool have announced the official signing of Alexis Mac Allister for an undisclosed fee on a long-term deal. The former Brighton midfielder has been excellent since returning from his World Cup win. Mac Allister is predominantly used in a central midfield role, a position Liverpool will likely continue with for him.

There are several implications raised from this move. Many within the fantasy community will now be questioning who takes both the Brighton and Liverpool penalties moving forward. This is something definitely worth monitoring as we edge closer to the new camapign.

Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid

Reliable source David Ornstein confirmed that the rumoured transfer of Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid was progressing. Bellingham will have his medical in the coming days. The fee mentioned is in excess of €100m.

The 19-year-old has been fantastic for Dortmund over recent seasons. UCL Fantasy managers will face the toughest dilemma with this transfer. They will have to decide if Bellingham is more of an attractive asset at his new club.

Lionel Messi to Inter Miami

Fabrizio Romano confirmed that PSG attacker Lionel Mess will be joining MLS side Inter Miami on a permanent deal. Messi, hailed as the greatest player to play the game bagged 16 goals and 16 assists in Ligue 1 this season.

Messi’s deal has a significant impact on both UCL Fantasy and MLS Fantasy managers. The latter will be waiting patiently for his price-tag whilst the former will now have limited options to choose from in the PSG frontline moving forward.

Raphael Guerreiro to Bayern

Fabrizio Romano also confirmed Raphael Guerreiro’s move from Dortmund to arch rivals Bayern this week. The full-back’s deal will be valid until 2026 after signing on on a free transfer. Guerreiro has been a popular asset in UCL Fantasy and Bundesliga Fantasy for some time now.

He also had a very successful season at Dortmund where he registered four goals and a whopping 12 assists. His attacking output didn’t stop there as the Portuguese international also bagged three goal contributions in his most recent Champions League campaign.

Both UCL Fantasy and Bundesliga Fantasy managers will be eagerly waiting for his price-tag release.

N’Golo Kante to Al Ittihad

Chelsea faced a significant blow this week. Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the Frenchman will joining Al Ittihad on a two year deal with the option to extend to another season. Kante has been a rock for Chelsea over the years helping them claim a Champions League trophy and other silver-ware.

FPL and UCL Fantasy managers could be even more hesitant on whether to invest in the Chelsea defence moving forward.
