FPL experts in Gameweek 38

Last modified date

With the final round and ultimately the campaign at its end we look back and catchup with the FPL experts in Gameweek 38. We pick out some of the best tweets from our fantasy football content creators and managers.

Throughout the season we have brought in some of the most engaged managers and content creators around to contribute to these Game-weekly articles. For one final time this season we catchup with the FPL experts in Gameweek 38.

Andy (FPLMode)

Fantasy Football Scout contributor and excellent manager Andy had a disappointing final round. Although he was one of the many managers to bring in Tottenham’s Harry Kane, he failed to captain him. The striker ended up banking a huge 16 points in Gameweek 38. Although enduring a tough final round Andy finished the season with a great rank of 39k in the world.

HM

Fantasy Premier League manager and content creator HM was also humorously vocal during the final round. He highlighted the performance of Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson and his fantasy season in general with one tweet. Ederson has been an increasingly frustrating asset for many within the community and because of this could be heavily avoided in the new campaign ahead.

Flapjack

Fantasy Football Scout contributor and experienced FPL manager Flapjack was keen to emphasise one thing he will not do for next season. Many within the community avoided going big in midfield at the start of the campaign but three of the five highest scoring players this season fall into that position category. Will Flapjack take his own advice for the new campaign?

Andy

Fantasy Football content creator and experienced FPL manager Andy paid his respects to one of the best assets to ever play the game. Whilst Manchester City’s Erling Haaland undoubtedly had an amazing campaign, he still didn’t come close to Mohamed Salah’s 17/18 season where he collected a huge 303 points.

Who Got The Assist? (Tom)

Fantasy Football Content creator and experienced FPL manager Tom highlighted the performance of one player in particular. Newcastle’s Kieran Trippier has become one of the best assets in the game this season, edging every other defender and becoming the highest scoring player in his position. Although that is the case, it didn’t stop him ending with zero points in the final week. He failed to secure the clean sheet and even scored an own goal. Will he become a template pick in the new season once again?
