Best differentials for Gameweek 37

Last modified date

We take a look at some of the best differentials for FPL Gameweek 37. With the help of the Fantasy Football Scout members area, we can use its underlying stats and fixture difficulty rating system to help us pick out some of the best players with low ownership for the round ahead.

Looking at the best differentials for FPL Gameweek 37 can be very beneficial to FPL managers in their quest to reaching their goals. Differentials are also vital to those that are looking to get ahead of their competition or gain rank.

Fixtures

Antony

Manchester United have a great double Gameweek in the round ahead. They face Bournemouth and Chelsea in Gameweek 37. Both of their opponents have shown defensive fragilities as of late. A good example of this is that both sides have conceded two or more goals in four of their last six matches.

The Chelsea and Bournemouth defence are there to target. Whilst many will back the obvious options with Marcus Rashford (£7.2m) and Bruno Fernandes (£9.5m) some could look at the lowly owned Antony (£7.3m). The Brazilian winger has started the last three league matches for his side. Antony also banked a seven-point return in his most recent game against Wolves.

Riyad Mahrez

Manchester City also have a double Gameweek ahead and have also been excellent towards the latter stage of their campaign. Although that is the case, rotation is a concern upon selecting their assets. One player who has been under used in the Champions League is Riyad Mahrez (£7.4m).

Mahrez has started the last four Premier League matches for the league leaders. This suggests that his minutes could be assured moving forward, or at least more assured than other attackers in the team. In the last four games Mahrez did start, he managed to bag a return in each and every one of them, highlighting his effectiveness when playing.

Pascal Groß

Brighton may face Manchester City as part of their upcoming double Gameweek, but they also have a match against relegated Southampton. The strugglers have been torrid for most of the season and defensively, have shipped two or more goals in five of their last six matches.

Southampton are there to target and whilst many back Kaoru Mitoma (5.7m) and Alexis Mac Allister (£5.6m) , those looking to go different could make a move for fellow midfielder Pascal Groß (£5.4m). The German has solid output in the last six matches, collecting three returns, including a double-digit haul.

Julian Alvarez

To further highlight Manchester City’s impressive and consistent goal threat lets look at their season stats. Amongst all teams in the division so far they rank first for goals (92), first for big chances total (126) and first for chances per minute (six).

Another route into the Manchester City offensive line is Julian Alvarez (£6m). The striker comes in at a brilliantly enabling price-tag. Whilst many could deem him as a rotation risk, he has been heavily involved domestically as of late. An example of this is he startedall of his sides last four matches. Alvarez proved his potential in one of his most recent games against Fulham. Banking a huge 12-point return against the Cottagers, Alvarez also proved dangerous in midweek finding the net against Real Madrid off the bench.
