Looking at the best differentials for FPL Gameweek 34 can be very beneficial to FPL managers in their quest to reaching their goals. Differentials are also vital to those that are looking to get ahead of their competition or gain rank.

Fixtures

John Stones

Manchester City have a double Gameweek ahead which makes their assets even more appealing. They face two teams who have failed to convince in terms of their offensive underlying data. Defensively, Manchester City are up there with some of the best.

Amongst all teams Manchester City rank second best for goals conceded (29), the best for shots in the box conceded (153), the best for shots on target conceded (68) and the best for big chances conceded (39). One player who could have great potential is John Stones (£5.5m). The centre-back has cemented his spot in the first team. Stones also has considerable goal threat from set pieces which was seen in his latest game where he scored against Arsenal.

Riyad Mahrez

Manchester City’s double Gameweek is too exciting to ignore from an attacking point of view. Both of the teams they face have shown defensive inconsistencies all season. One of their opponents, Fulham, rank the second worst team in the league for big chances conceded (91). Their other opponent, West Ham, have conceded two goals or more in three of their last six matches.

The potential is there for another Manchester City attacker and whilst many flock to Kevin De Bruyne (£12.1m) and Jack Grealish (£7.2m) some could consider Riyad Mahrez (£7.3m). The Algerian is a minutes risk but when he does play he is effective. An example of this is that he has managed four assists and four goals in 10 of his last 10 starts in all competitions.

Diogo Jota

Liverpool also have a double Gameweek in the round ahead. They face Tottenham and Fulham. We have already seen that Fulham have conceded a concerning amount of big chances this season. In terms of their other opponent, Tottenham, they seem to be crumbling defensively conceding two or more goals in four of their last five matches. One of their latest defeats saw Newcastle put six past them.

This season Liverpool rank third for goals scored (61), second for total attempts (507), first for shots in the box (373) and second for big chances total (106). Their stats and fixtures suggest investment could be key. Whilst many back the obvious pick of Mohamed Salah (£13m), those looking to go different could back Diogo Jota (£8.8m). The Portuguese international has shown he has bags of potential, scoring four goals and producing one assist in his last three matches.

Michail Antonio

West Ham face two teams in Gameweek 34. The Hammers play both Crystal Palace and Manchester City in the round ahead. Its been a tough season for the London club as they battle relegation. However, the seem to finding their feet offensively. A good example of this is the fact they have not failed to find the net in any of their last 10 matches in all compeititons.

Motivation will be rife as West Ham attempt to keep their place in the league. One player returning to form is Michail Antonio (£7m). The striker has managed to bag three goals and one assist in his last three matches in all competitions.
