Fixtures

Dominic Solanke (£5.5m)

Since Gameweek 23 Bournemouth have put together a run of results which have seen them edge away from the relegation zone. The Cherries have an attractive fixture on paper against Southampton who are bottom of the Premier League table. Between Gameweek 17 and 31 Southampton have conceded 26 goals, only four teams have conceded more.

Between Gameweek 17 and 31 Solanke has had 37 attempts on goal. Only six forwards in the game have had more. In this period he has also created nine chances for his team mates, four of which have been seen as big chances.

Emi Buendia (£5.7m)

Aston Villa have been flying since the appointment of Unai Emery ahead of Gameweek 15. If the Premier League had started then the Villians would find themselves in the Champions League spots in the league. Over 20% of FPL managers own Ollie Watkins, therefore investing in the Villa attacking double up would be a great differential.

Emi Buendia has registered six attacking returns since the arrival of the new manager. Between Gameweek 15 and 31 he has had 21 attempts on goal and created 20 chances for his team-mates. His 183 touches in the final third is a team leading total at Villa in this period, therefore meaning that any attacking return for Buendia is likely to result in bonus points too.

Alexis Mac Allister (£5.5m)

Brighton have been in great form in the Premier League. They were unlucky not to take all threee points from the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in Gameweek 30, but ensured they left London with all three points from Chelsea in Gameweek 31. Alexis Mac Allister remains one of the only Brighton midfielders to be owned by under 10% of FPL managers.

With Mac Allister there is the risk of him playing slightly deeper, however he remains their penalty taker and therefore has a good route to points. Since the Gameweek 26 Mac Allister has four attacking returns. Only Kaoru Mitoma and Solly March have more at Brighton in this period. His 26 attempts on goal in this period is also a team leading total at the Seagull’s and he has also created 10 chances for his team-mates.

James Maddison (£8.1m)

Whilst Leicester have been in poor form and remain very much at risk of relelgation they do have a good fixture in Gameweek 33. Leicester face a Leeds side who in their four matches between Gameweek 29 and 31 have conceded 16 goals, more than any other side.

Maddison has 15 attacking returns this season which is a team leading total at Leicester. His 55 chances creating is also substantially more than any of the other Foxes. The next best is Kieran Dewsbury-Hall with 37.

Taking into account Leeds’ poor defensive numbers, Leicester and Maddison should be able to register attacking returns in this one.
