Best budget players for Gameweek 32

Last modified date

We reel off some of the best budget players for Gameweek 32 with the help of the fantastic tools available in the Fantasy Football Scout members area. We also take into consideration form, fixtures and stats to help us.

Looking at some of the best budget players for Gameweek 32 can be hugely beneficial to FPL managers. Cheap players help enable funds elsewhere within our fantasy teams which also aids fitting in the more pricier options in the game.

Fixtures

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace rank second on the fixture ticker this week with a game against a struggling Everton. Since Roy Hodson has took over they have made significant progress defensively and offensively. An example of their defensive improvements is that since Hodgson has taken over they rank joint second best for goals conceded (two), second best for shots conceded in the box (18) and second best for big chances conceded (two).

For managers interested in their cheap enabling defensive assets some could look to Joachim Anderson who ranks above his defensive teammates for non-penalty expected goal involvement this season (2.22). The centre-back also ranks amongst the best 12 defenders for attempts on goal this campaign (19).

There has also been some huge improvements in their frontline. Since Hodgson’s takeover, Crystal Palace rank joint second for goals scored (nine), joint first for goals in the box (six) and fourth for attempts on goal (57).

The Crystal Palace attacker that has maintained the best stats this season is Michael Olise (£5.5m). The winger edges his offensive teammates for non-penalty expected goal involvement this season (7.09). Another great option in Eberechi Eze (£5.4m). Eze has picked up a return in all of his first three matches under Roy Hodgson.

Dominic Solanke

Bournemouth may be struggling defensively but their most recent form is actually impressive. The Cherries have picked up a huge nine points from 12 in their last four matches whilst also scoring two or more goals in two of those same games.

West Ham lay ahead for Bournemouth who have conceded between two and four goals in half of their last six games. One player who could scrutinise the Hammers edgy backline is Dominic Solanke (£5.5m). In the last six Gameweeks amongst all players the striker also ranks second for shots in the box (20). Solanke is the focal point to his teams attack, takes his sides penalties and banked a huge 15-point haul in his most recent game.

Andreas Pereira

Fulham have a game against the relegation battling Leeds in Gameweek 32. To highlight how poor Leeds have been defensively lately, in the last six matches they rank the worst for goals conceded (15), third worst for shots in the box conceded (70) and the worst for big chances total (21).

One player who could make a fantastic budget enabler is Andreas Pereira (£4.3m). The midfielder plays in an advanced position, takes set pieces and takes his sides penalties. This gives him multiple routes to points. Pereira has also picked up 11 returns this season already.
