Best differentials for Gameweek 30

Last modified date

We take a look at some of the best differentials for FPL Gameweek 30. With the help of the Fantasy Football Scout members area, we can use its underlying stats and fixture difficulty rating system to help us pick out some of the best players with low ownership for the round ahead.

Looking at the best differentials for FPL Gameweek 30 can be very beneficial to FPL managers in their quest to reaching their goals. Differentials can be vital to those that are looking to get ahead of their competition or gain rank.

Fixtures

Harvey Barnes

Leicester sit top of the fixture ticker this week. They face Bournemouth in Gameweek 30. This season amongst all teams in the league Bournemouth rank the worst for goals conceded (57), the worst for shots in the box conceded (316) and the worst for total attempts conceded (483).

Bournemouth are conceding some very poor defensive stats this season. Because of that the Cherries are a team to target. One player who could take advantage of that is Harvey Barnes (£6.7m). The midfielder leads all of his offensive teammates for non-penalty expected goal involvement this season (9.30). Barnes has also netted twice in the last four matches for Leicester.

Emiliano Buendia

Aston Villa are in fantastic form lately. They have won five of their last six matches, remaining unbeaten in the same period. As well as good results they are also scoring plenty of goals. They have netted two or more goals in four of their last six games.

Nottingham Forest lay ahead next. The promoted side have conceded more goals than any other team in the last six Gameweeks (15). Ollie Watkins (£7.5m) is the obvious choice. However, for those looking for a differential they could opt for Emiliano Bunedia (£5.7m). The midfielder has collected two returns in his last three matches and could easily extend that against a poor Nottingham Forest.

Jack Grealish

This season amongst all teams in the league Manchester City rank first for goals scored (71), first for big chances total (101) and first for shots on target (159). Because of this, other than the obvious option Erling Haaland (£12m), it could be worth further investment into the relentless frontline.

One player who could become a fantastic differential is Jack Grealish (£6.8m). Significantly cheaper than his offensive teammates, Grealish has also avoided rotation and started Manchester City’s last five Premier League matches. The midfielder picked up a double-digit return in his most recent match against Liverpool producing a goal and an assist.

Andreas Pereira

Fulham have a great run of fixtures until they reach their Gameweek 34 game against Manchester City. Amongst the teams they face are West Ham, Leeds and Everton. All three teams are struggling for consistency as they battle relegation.

The news of striker Aleksander Mitrovic’s lengthy ban may not necessarily benefit Fulham, but it could do exactly that for Andreas Pereira (£4.3m). The budget player takes his sides penalties when Mitrovic is not on the pitch and he has also bagged two returns in his last three matches.
