Last modified date

We take a look at some of the best differentials for FPL Gameweek 29. With the help of the Fantasy Football Scout members area, we can use its underlying stats and fixture difficulty rating system to help us pick out some of the best players with low ownership for the round ahead.

Looking at the best differentials for FPL Gameweek 29 can be very beneficial to FPL managers in their quest to reaching their goals. Differentials can be vital to those that are looking to get ahead of their competition or gain rank.

Fixtures

Brighton attackers

Brighton have a fantastic double Gameweek in the round ahead. They face Bournemouth and Brentford who rank as the worst two teams in the league this season for shots on target conceded. Bournemouth also rank as the joint third worst for goals conceded (11), the worst for shots in the box conceded (79) and joint second worst for big chances conceded (17) in the last six matches amongst all teams in the league.

The Brighton attack is in fine form this campaign. In fact this season Brighton rank in the best five teams for goals scored (46), shots in the box (246), big chances total (71), minutes per chance (6.6) and shots on target (138). Investing in the Brighton frontline will be key this week but two of their best attackers still sit under 10% ownership in the game.

One of the Brighton midfielders who should be considered is Solly March (£5.1m). The Englishman has managed four double-digit hauls in his last 11 Premier League matches. Another great differential is Alexis Mac Allister (£5.5m). He has took up an advanced role within his side, takes his teams penalties and ranks fourth amongst all players in the league for non-penalty expected goal involvement in the last six Gameweeks (4.05).

Dominic Solanke

Bournemouth rank fourth on the fixture ticker in the round ahead. They play against Fulham and Brighton. Fulham have conceded more big chances than any other team in the league this season (80). This could indicate that Fulham could be a team to target.

Dominic Solanke (£5.5m) is the focal point to the Cherries attack and also takes his teams penalties, giving him an additional route to points. Solanke edges all of his offensive teammates for non-penalty expected goal involvement this season (5.96). Not only could the striker have solid potential for the round ahead but he also releases a lot of funds to move on the appealing premium players for the run ahead.

Alexander Isak

Newcastle also have a double Gameweek in the new round. They face Manchester United and West Ham. Both of their opponents have showed defensive inconsistencies this season. Newcastle will be hoping to extend their good run of form after two back-to-back Premier League wins. They also managed to calm any doubts over their goal scoring ability in the same two matches scoring two in each.

The biggest contributor towards Newcastle’s uptake in form is Alexander Isak (£6.7m). The striker has banked 20 FPL points in his last two matches consisting of three goals and five bonus points. His recent form could even be enough to keep out teammate Callum Wilson (£6.9m). In doing so, Isak could remain on penalty duty.
