GAFFR top picks for Gameweek 34

Last modified date

We go through the GAFFR top picks for Gameweek 34 using stats, form and fixture ahead. After a double Gameweek in Gameweek 33, we look ahead to the new round. Gameweek 34 starts on the 25th of February. This means managers have a short time to get their teams ready.

Going through the GAFFR top picks for Gameweek 34 can be hugely beneficial. As fantasy managers, we are always looking for players who could do really well in the next round. For that reason, picking out some of the best assets for the Gameweek ahead can be crucial when chasing down the competition.

Coventry

Coventry face a double Gameweek in the round ahead. This means that they play two fixtures, doubling the potential of their players and becoming even more appealing in GAFFR. Because of this is could be key to invest in the Coventry assets.

After progressing their way through another tough patch that saw them winless in six matches in all competitions, results are improving for Coventry. They are now unbeaten in their last three matches, winning two, drawing one and keeping two clean sheets.

One of the teams they face this week is Sunderland who have been inconsistent as of late. In their last 10 matches in all competitions they have won four, lost three and drawn three. In that same period Sunderland have also kept just three clean sheets.

Preston are the other team Coventry face. In their last 10 matches in all competitions Preston have won three, lost five and drawn two. In that same period they have kept just two clean sheets. Taking all of the above into account both Coventry’s defensive and offensive assets should be considered.

In defence many could consider goalkeeper Wilson (£4.7m). However their standout asset is defender Bidwell (£5.7m). He has the second highest GAFFR points within his team (160) and has also picked up four full clean sheets, two assists and one goal in his last 10 league matches.

In attack standout star and striker Viktor (£8.3m) is the first player to reach more than 200 points in GAFFR. The fantasy favourite has bagged a huge 14 goals and four assists in his 32 matches this season. Another route into the attack could be midfielder Palmer (£5.8m). He has picked up two goals in his last six league matches.

Luton

Luton also have a double Gameweek this week. Their form has been impressive and they currently sit in the play-offs because of it. Although that is the case they do appear to be in the middle of a mini-slump. In their last 10 matches they have won four, lost three and drawn three.

One of the teams Luton face is Birmingham who have really struggled to string together a positive run of results this season. In their last 10 matches they have won three, lost lost six and drawn once whilst also keeping just one clean sheet.

Luton’s second opponent is Millwall who in their last 10 matches have won four, lost three and drawn three whilst also keeping three clean sheets. Investing in Luton could have huge potential considering both of their fixtures.

When looking in defence many could choose goalkeeper Horvarth (£5.7m). The standout defensive option could be Bell (£5.6m). As well as sitting as Luton’s second highest points scorer in GAFFR, Bell spends more time in the opposition’s half than his own, increasing the likeness of attacking returns.

In attack striker Morris (£7.4m) stands out as the best option. He has collected an impressive 12 goals and five assists, totalling 17 goal contributions in 31 games. Midfielder Clark (£5.6m) could also be considered. He has returned two assists and three goals this campaign.

Millwall

Our final stop leads us to Millwall, another team that have a double Gameweek in the round ahead. We have already seen their recent performances in their last 10 matches but they also sit fifth in the Championship so overall it has been a successful campaign for them so far.

One of the teams they face is Stoke who have really struggled this season but their recent form has pushed them into 12th in the league. In their last 10 matches in all competitions they have won five, lost four and drawn one whilst also keeping four clean sheets.

Millwall’s second opponent is Luton and we have already seen although they have had a very strong campaign but they have been suffering a short term blip. Millwall have some appealing assets in both attack and defence for Gameweek 34.

In defence GAFFR managers could back central defender Cresswell (£5.5m). He has picked up the most attacking returns amongst his defensive teammates this season with four goals and one assist. Another solid option could be Cooper (£6.2m) who has more GAFFR points than any other play within the squad.

In attack the standout option is Bradshaw (£6.6m). The striker has bagged four goals in his last two league matches for Millwall. Some could also go for midfielder Flemming (£7.5m). He has picked up 10 goals and one assist already this season.
