Community Team Reveal Gameweek 20 – FPL Rabbi

Last modified date

Each Gameweek brings an FPL community team reveal. As a result, that person gives insight into their transfers, captaincy and future plans.

Ahead of Gameweek 20, it’s the turn of FPL Rabbi to tell us what he is doing to his team.

Hi FPL Rabbi and thanks for the team reveal. So how did Gameweek 19 go?

It has been decent, with 59 points and a small green arrow. However, like almost every other green arrow of this season it’s a case of what could have been. Aleksandar Mitrovic with only ten points as captain, whilst Rodrigo scored but only grabbed six points.

What does your defence look like?

Currently, it has David De Gea in goal, with Kieran Trippier, Ben White, Kyle Walker and Hugo Bueno in front. The injured Reece James has been spotted back in training this week, so Walker will be the one to make way.

Meanwhile, what about your midfield and attack?

I’m midfield we find Mohamed Salah, Kevin De Bruyne, Marcus Rashford, Rodrigo and Andreas Pereira. Sacrifices need to be made in order to take some Double Gameweek 20 risks. In attack, I currently have Mitrovic and Erling Haaland in a 3-5-2 formation.

So what are your transfer plans for Gameweek 20 and beyond?

The plan is to take an eight-point hit to sell Mitrovic, Walker and Salah – although the latter is with a heavy heart, as I think Brighton away is a prime match for him.

It’s to get Harry Kane, Riyad Mahrez and another Newcastle defender because having just Trippier means I’m not really gaining anything from the league’s best defence. I’m contemplating if Fabian Schar is worth the extra money over Sven Botman.

Yet this could all still change if we get further Double Gameweek confirmations.

Finally, what about captaincy?

The armband still goes on Haaland but not Triple Captain. I’d rather use it another time, as I think Man City aren’t quite right at the moment.

Good luck and thank you for the team reveal!
