  • The match gets underway.
  • CHANCE! Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Salah (£12.9m) finds space for a through ball. The pass splits the Brentford backline and reaches Darwin Nunez who is through on goal but his attempt is foiled with a fantastic save by David Raya (£4.6m).
  • Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott (£4.9m) picks up a yellow card for his foul.
  • CHANCE! Brentford midfielder Yoane Wissa (£5.3m) releases the ball down the right flank to find Bryan Mbeumo’s darting run. Mbeumo is in a fantastic position to score but it’s a great save from Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker (£5.5m).
  • GOAL! Bryan Mbeumo whips in a great ball from the resulting corner, the ball bounces off Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate (£4.8m) and goes into his own net! It’s 1-0 to Brentford!
  • CHANCE! Liverpool midfielder Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain (£4.9m) slips a ball into the path of Konstantinos Tsimikas in the opposition’s box who shoots but the goalkeeper makes a big save.
  • GOAL! Moments after Yoane Wissa has a goal ruled out by VAR, he makes it 2-0 after nodding in a cross by teammate and midfielder Mathias Jensen (£4.8m)!
  • The whistle blows for half time.

Second half

  • The second half gets underway.
  • There has been significant changes as both defender Virgil Van Dijk (£6.5m) and Konstantinos Tsimikas come off at half time.
  • GOAL! Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.3m) curls a left footed cross into the head of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who scores! Its 2-1 to Brentford!
  • Liverpool are mounting pressure on Brentford who are defending really well.
  • There has been a lack of clear cut chances in the second half.
  • Darwin Nunez picks up a yellow card for his foul.
  • CHANCE! Trent Alexander-Arnold gets a great chance to shoot on his left foot but hesitates to try to find a pass but fails. That was a great chance for the defender to shoot.
  • GOAL! Brentford midfielder Christian Norgaard (£5.3m) nails a looped through-ball over the head of Ibrahima Konate to Bryan Mbeumo who edges ahead and calmy slots the ball past Alisson Becker! It’s 3-1 to Brentford!
  • The whistle blows for fulltime.

  • Bryan Mbeumo picked up the biggest return in the game. The striker hit 12 points due to his goal, assist and three bonus.
  • Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain collected nine points after his goal and securing two bonus.
  • The third highest scoring player in the game was Yoane Wissa, he picked up eight points for his goal and one bonus.
