What the top 10k did in Gameweek 18

Last modified date

Using the popular FPL website Live FPL we can see what the FPL top 10k did in Gameweek 18. We take a look at things like chips usage, ownership , and captaincy. We overview some of the most important statistics during the new round.

Tracking the best ranked FPL managers in the world can really help us making future decisions within our own teams. In addition, it also gives us a good knowledge regarding ownership, captaincy and much more. Seeing what the top 10k did in Gameweek 18 can also be very insightful and managers can see which players will have a good or bad effect on their rank.

Ownership

Man City man Erling Haaland remains the highest owned player in the top 10k. The striker’s relentless form has led him to nearly 100% ownership. Two Newcastle players make up the rest of the top three. One of them is defender Kieran Trippier who sits as the highest scoring defender in the game.

Marcus Rashford is also gaining plenty of new managers. The midfielder bagged a goal and an assist in Gameweek 17 and sits as the fourth highest owned player in the top 10k.

Captaincy

Erling Haaland continues to dominate. Nearly 97% of the top 10k managers have captained him. The second most captained player is Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian drew up a blank in the early kick-off so those that chose to captain Salah will be nervously waiting to see how well Haaland performs.

Chips

As we can see, most managers in the top 10k did not use a chip. The only other chip used by more than 1% of the top 10k was the wildcard.
