The Premier League starts tomorrow which means the return of the Fantasy Premier League game. We look back and reflect on some of the players with the best stats so far with the help of the Fantasy Football Scout members area.

Taking a look at the players with the best stats so far can be extremely beneficial to fantasy football managers. It can help with some of the most important decisions in the game with things like transfers, captaincy and chip plan.

Erling Haaland

Manchester City now have a focal point to their attack. That focal point is none other than Erling Haaland (£12.2m). The striker has been in relentless form so far, picking up a whopping 18 goals and three assists in 12 league matches.

Haaland is also maintaining some fantastic stats. Amongst all players in the league he is third for attempts on goal, first for shots in the box, first for big chances total, first for expected goals and first for expected goal involvement.

Harry Kane

Tottenham have shown some inconsistencies this season but one player who has remained consistent in their output is Harry Kane (£11.6m). The striker has gone under the radar since the arrival of Erling Haaland, even after collecting 12 goals and one assist from 15 league matches played.

Newcastle have shocked the footballing world with their brilliant start to the season. They currently sit third in the Premier League, ahead of heavy hitters like Liverpool and Chelsea. One of their standout players so far is Kieran Trippier (£5.9m).

Trippier has been fantastic and that can be reflected in the fact he is the highest scoring defender in the game. Kevin De Bruyne
