The best attacks in World Cup Fantasy

Last modified date

The 2022 World Cup is drawing closer. In fact, it is just days away from its start. We take a look into the World Cup qualifying round to work out which teams involved have the best attacks in World Cup Fantasy.

World Cup Fantasy managers can now build their squads. The World Cup is just days away so knowing which teams have the best attacks in World Cup Fantasy will be detrimental towards key factors like planning, transfers, chip strategy and building their squads in general.

Germany

Germany have dropped form over the years and their recent performances do reflect this. In fact, in their last six Nations League matches, the Germans have won just once. However, don’t be fooled by their recent performances because they are very capable goal scorers.

Germany won eight of their 10 World Cup qualifying matches which could be seen as a huge achievement alone. However, it was their goal scoring ability that caught the eye. In their 10 matches, Germany managed to score a massive 36 goals. That averages out at a whopping 3.6 goals scored per game.

England

England have been inconsistent as of late. The Three Lions failed to win any of their recent six matches in the Nations League. However, they have shown that they can score goals and punish weaker teams when they face them.

In their World Cup qualifying matches, England put away a huge 39 goals. That averages out at 3.9 goals scored per game. Albeit, 15 of those goals were against San Marino. Even with that in mind, England still scored 24 goals without those factored in and also averaged three goals per match.

Brazil

Brazil have been prolific recently. In fact, they have scored four goals or more in four of their last five matches. That same impressive attack was also shown in their World Cup qualifying campaign as they dismantled six of their opponents by four goals or more.

The Brazilians bagged 40 goals in that same campaign. They averaged 2.3 goals scored per match. Considering they played tougher opposition than Germany and England in their qualifying matches, it could be seen as even more impressive.
