OFFICIAL: Erling Haaland signs for Man City

The heavily-rumoured summer transfer of Erling Haaland to Man City was confirmed at 3:30 pm on Tuesday.

This came shortly after Pep Guardiola’s not-so-cryptic press conference quotes. “Everybody knows the situation, I shouldn’t talk because I don’t like to talk about the future or next season. Dortmund and Man City told me I’m not allowed to say anything until it’s completely done.”

FFC’s Bundesliga expert will soon analyse the transfer in more detail, exploring his playing style and huge FPL potential. Needless to say, it’s a monumental transfer to kick off an exciting FPL summer. His starting price will be the main talking point until the game’s relaunch.

Marcos Alonso bust-up has been resolved and wants to play on Wednesday

Once Chelsea wing-back Marcos Alonso was taken off at half-time against Wolves, rumours began to build up. It turns out that there was indeed a bust-up with head coach Thomas Tuchel but Alonso’s time at Stamford Bridge may not be over.

In his pre-match press conference before the Leeds match, Tuchel said: “It started and ended in the first half. [It] was not continued at half-time. Nothing else. Things are solved. That happens.”

In fact, Alonso is pushing to start at Elland Road on Wednesday night. That will please his 277,000 new owners and 46% top 10k ownership.

Team News: Good news for James Maddison owners but Emmanuel Dennis is out

Elsewhere in Tuesday’s press conferences, there is mixed news for owners of James Maddison and Emmanuel Dennis. The Leicester midfielder has been unused during their last two league matches but Brendan Rodgers believes he will be back to face Norwich. As for Dennis, he picked up a knock at the weekend and will miss Wednesday’s hosting of Everton.
