Form Vs Fixture Charts for Gameweek 24

Last modified date

Gameweek 24

The Gameweek 24 charts make for interesting reading, with plenty of changes at the top. Are you going to invest in those sides with good form and fixtures?

 Gameweek 24

Front Runners

There’s plenty of options at the top of the Gameweek 24 charts; Chelsea, Liverpool and West Ham lead the way. Liverpool have the best form, having won each of their last four games. Chelsea and West Ham are unbeaten in this period and have four favourable games coming up. For Liverpool, clean sheets remain challenging, but Robertson at 4.7 and Karius at 4.8 provide budget options in defence. Salah is the essential attacking option: hold off on bringing in Firmino until after the racism investigation has reached its outcome. Chelsea are consistently keeping clean sheets so investment in defence is wise: Alonso and Azpilicueta regularly chip in with attacking returns, Christensen is the budget pick with Cahill injured. There’s certainly potential from Hazard and Morata, but both are out of form: investment would be favourable elsewhere. Lanzini and Arnautovic are the in form selections from West Ham: they are budget friendly midfielders with strong attacking returns and good underlying statistics. The defence hasn’t been keeping clean sheets regularly enough, but Adrian provides good value for money.

Form Teams

Spurs, Manchester United and Bournemouth are both unbeaten over their last four. Spurs have a tough run after Gameweek 24: I’d hold any double gameweek assets for a week longer before shifting cash elsewhere – Kane and Son are definitely worth keeping long term though on their current form. Manchester United are showing consistency in defence once more. Phil Jones is the standout pick in defence, at a lower price than some of his counterparts. In attack, Lingard and Pogba are providing consistency in returns. Bournemouth have very few star players and haven’t got the defensive consistency right now. Callum Wilson is the form player, and an interesting contender for the cheap third forward spot, with some favourable games coming up. If Ryan Fraser can stay fit, then he is likely to continue to be the provider for Wilson’s goals.

Fixture Teams

The front runners really do have the pick of the upcoming fixtures. Further down the schedule are Stoke, Manchester City and Brighton. Stoke are under new management and it is yet to be seen who will thrive in this period. Continued investment in the Manchester City defence, along with Sterling and Aguero is advised: their next two fixtures are promising. Brighton aren’t in form, but do provide budget options in the defence and in midfield with Groß.
