FPL Gameweek 26 transfers in and out: All aboard the Salah train

Last modified date

A look at which players have had the most FPL transfers in and out so far ahead of the deadline.

FPL Transfers

Here are the most bought and sold players so far, as of Thursday afternoon.

As expected, the race for managers to purchase Mohamed Salah has escalated significantly since the end of Gameweek 25. With Liverpool playing two generous home matches against Norwich and Leeds, it’s about either captaining or triple captaining the FPL top scorer.

Over 560,000 have bought Salah this week, with three recent price rises and probably one more to come. There have been mass sales of Bruno Fernandes (213k), Kevin De Bruyne (207k) and Cristiano Ronaldo (178k) to accommodate this.

This is despite the Man United duo both scoring on Tuesday night, plus De Bruyne finding the net twice from three matches before ‘Pep Roulette’ saw him sit out the 4-0 win at Norwich.

Only two of the five most-bought have a Double Gameweek 26. Bukayo Saka is the other, perhaps spurred on by the midweek ankle injury suffered by Diogo Jota. Arsenal play twice at home to Brentford and Wolves.

Playing once hasn’t deterred FPL managers from buying Armando Broja, Jarrod Bowen or Philippe Coutinho, as they have appealing home games against Everton, Newcastle and Watford respectively. The trio are in form, with the very cheap Broja likely used alongside Salah in dual purchases.

Conor Gallagher can only play one of Crystal Palace’s two fixtures because he is ineligible to face parent club Chelsea. He has been ditched by 186,000 owners, with Man City’s Bernardo Silva also given sold by many.
