Top Targets: Gameweek 23
Monitoring the FPL transfer market is one of the biggest parts of playing the game. Who are FPL managers bringing in and transferring out? We take a look at who the most targeted players are and who they are replacing.
Top Transfers In
With Aston Villa having two fixtures which still need to be rescheduled it is not surprising to see Coutinho as the most transferred in player so far ahead of Gameweek 23.
Coutinho made a goal scoring return to the Premier League in Gameweek 23 and most FPL managers are expecting him to make his first start for Villa in Gameweek 23.
Kevin De Bruyne, Jarrod Bowen and Bruno Fernandes’s performances in Gameweek 22 have also made them attractive options for FPL managers.
Whilst Fernandes and Bowen face each other this weekend, KDB has arguably the kindest fixture of all of the Top 6 this time around.
Wolves’ impressive clean sheet record and lack of goals conceded (just three since Gameweek 12) has made Conor Coady a target for FPL managers ahead of their trip to Brentford.
Top Transfers Out
Mohamed Salah and Egypt qualified for the round of 16 in the African Cup of Nations on Wednesday evening and therefore he once again finds himself as the most transferred out player, having being sold by 292425 managers.
Heung-Min Son’s injured leaves him continuing to be a doubt ahead of Gameweek 23 with manager Conte stating after the League Cup Semi-final first leg that he wasn’t expecting to have Son back until after the international break.
Like Son, Reece James’ injury see’s him continue to be sold by managers in their droves.
Mason Mount’s failure to return in Double Gameweek 22 see’s him a target for FPL managers sales, especially as Chelsea face three blank Gameweek’s after their game against Spurs in Gameweek 23 thanks to the Cup Wold Cup and the League Cup Final.
Bernando Silva seems to be being sacrificed as managers look to invested in KDB ahead of Man City’s nice fixtures, however managers may regret this if Silva refunds his goal scoring form.
