For most of the season, Manchester City have been leading the way in the Form Vs Fixture Charts, but there’s notable changes ahead of Gameweek 14.
Front Runners
Liverpool are leading the way and Mohammed Salah looks to be essential for Gameweek 14 and beyond. It’s difficult to tip anyone else right now as there’s a fair bit of rotation and nobody else appears to be matching Salah’s consistency. Maybe the best suggestion here is to give him the armband to bolster the Liverpool potential further.
Chelsea are next on the list, they’ve got an excellent run of fixtures, even beyond the 4 weeks shown in the charts and have a kinder schedule over Christmas. Eden Hazard is top of this list here, but Morata isn’t far behind. Investment in the backline is also wise, Christensen is the budget selection here.
Manchester City just about scrape into this section. Sane is one yellow off a ban, plus Aguero and Jesus are unlikely to play together.
A midfielder and a defender can be justified for investment, but the necessary triple up looks to have passed. There’s no logic in having expensive players that don’t play every game and then don’t show enough consistency even when they do start.
Form and Fixture Teams
Manchester United have the best form outside of the teams mentioned above. It was a lacklustre performance against Brighton at the weekend, and it’s not clear where the points will come from: plus there’s a tricky fixture on the horizon. There’s nobody sticking out here, I’d keep defensive players but look to ship attackers after Gameweek 14.
Crystal Palace, Burnley and Spurs have the kindest run. I’d look to include Zaha or Loftus-Cheek in midfield, plus Kane up front still looks essential. Burnley are still worth investing in at the back, having conceded just that unlucky penalty against Arsenal.
